Location: Belleville, ON

Schedule: Tuesday to Friday

Shift: 6 AM start (10-to-12-hour shifts)

Pay: $24.50 per hour

We are seeking motivated, hard-working individuals with a valid DZ license to join our team as Drivers/Loaders. Be part of a team that contributes to a cleaner, more sustainable future! Key Responsibilities:

Drive & Collect: Operate automatic transmission trucks to collect solid waste, yard waste, and recyclables along assigned routes (routes may vary daily).
Inspections & Reporting: Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, complete truck reports, route sheets, and all necessary documentation.
Vehicle Maintenance: Report any mechanical issues to the mechanic or supervisor immediately.
Safe Operation: Follow safety protocols to ensure efficient operations and prevent mechanical failures.
Compliance: Adhere to all national, provincial, and local vehicle operation regulations.
Cleanliness: Maintain the cleanliness of vehicles, inside and out.
Teamwork: Attend daily safety meetings and collaborate effectively with team members
Work Balance: Balance driving and physical labour duties in a 50/50 split.

Requirements:

Experience: 1-2 years of DZ/AZ driving experience required (no newly licensed drivers).
License: Valid DZ and/or AZ License with a clean driver’s abstract.
Physical Stamina: Ability to lift and move up to 80 lbs regularly.
Adaptability: Willingness to work in all weather conditions, year-round.
Equipment Familiarity: Knowledge of collection equipment is a plus.
