Initial Responsibilities:
Spearhead the café’s coffee program
Develop coffee/drink menus
Setup/maintain/evaluate all cafe equipment
Evaluate daily operations
Organize and maintain inventory
Address customers’ complaints or concerns
Provide customer service
Manage events
Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
Train staff
Supervise staff
Monitor staff performance
Plan and organize daily operations
Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports and related forms

Senior Manager Role
Analyze budget to boost and maintain the retail/restaurant’s profits
Develop budget to determine cost of food, ingredients, alcohol, kitchen and cleaning supplies
Modify food preparation methods and menu prices according to the restaurant budget
Monitor revenues to determine labour cost
Recruit staff
Set staff work schedules
Conduct performance reviews
Leading/instructing individuals
Determine type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures
Cost products and services
Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations
Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies
Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities
Participate in marketing plans and implementation

MUST be smart serve certified
Can work a combinations of shifts weekday AM/PM and weekends AM/PM and holidays
Barista: 3 years (required)

Supervision:
3-4 people leading to 5-10 people
