Arkle is a reputable trucking transport company seeking an organized and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our team.
Job Summary:
We’re looking for an efficient and customer-focused Office Administrator to manage our day-to-day operations, provide administrative support, and ensure seamless communication between drivers, customers, and internal teams.
Responsibilities:
– Manage front desk operations, answer phone calls, and respond to emails
– Coordinate logistics, dispatch, and scheduling
– Maintain accurate records, files, and databases
– Process invoices, payments, and billing
– Provide customer service and resolve issues
– Assist with payroll, benefits, and HR tasks
– Generate reports and perform data entry
– Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements
– Collaborate with drivers, mechanics, and operations team
Requirements:
– 2 years of administrative experience
– High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education preferred
– Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
– Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
– Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
– Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
– Knowledge of transportation industry regulations an asset
Preferred Qualifications:
– Experience with transportation management softwares
– Familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks)
