We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Garage Door Technician helper to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess an interest in construction and repair, with the ability to learn and retain proper ways to diagnose issues and perform installations and maintenance on various types of garage doors. This role requires a hands-on approach, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service to our customers.
Responsibilities
Install, repair, and maintain residential and commercial garage doors and openers.
Diagnose mechanical issues and provide effective solutions.
Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
Perform carpentry tasks as needed for door installations or repairs.
Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety standards.
Maintain accurate records of work performed, including parts used and time spent on each job.
Experience
Strong interest or experience in construction or a related field is preferred.
Skills or interest in carpentry.
Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to garage door installation and repair.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
Drivers licence and transportation to shop are necessary
