Location: Nepean, Ottawa (Brown’s Cleaners)
Pay: $20/hour

Brown’s Cleaners, located in Nepean, Ottawa, is a trusted name in dry cleaning and garment care. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional customer service and quality alterations. We are looking for a dedicated Seamstress/Tailor to join our team and assist with both customer service and garment alterations.

Job Responsibilities
Customer Service
• Assist customers with inquiries in a friendly, efficient manner.
• Process customer transactions accurately.
• Resolve phone, walk-in, email, and other inquiries professionally.
• Notify customers when garments are ready for pick-up.
Alterations and Repairs
• Alter, mend, and modify garments to meet customers’ specifications.
• Replace buttons, zippers, linings, and pockets.
• Demonstrate knowledge of various fabrics and sewing techniques.
• Ensure all alterations are completed on time and meet high-quality standards. Qualifications • Proven experience as a seamstress, tailor, or similar role.
• Excellent sewing and alteration skills.
• Strong customer service and communication abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with garment care and fabric handling is an asset.
