RESIDENT/NON RESIDENT MANAGERS

Due to a few upcoming retirements and promotions within we are seeking professional, qualified individuals for the positions of Resident & Non Resident Managers.

The Manager is responsible for the operation of the property, screening tenants, tenant relations, rent collections, resolving tenant complaints, supervising of contractors and assistant managers and liaison with Property Manager/Owner on all issues.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Showing apartments to potential tenants and renting to them once they have been fully screened and are qualified
Complete move-in and move-out condition reports
Deliver notices to tenants
Rent collections and all banking procedures set out by management
Email and viewing of web pages to check on the competition rental rates etc
Record keeping
Enforce the BC Residential Tenancy Act and attend hearings when required
Supervise and arrange cleaning of all common areas and vacant suites
Supervise all trades, contractors and cleaners – there is no physical cleaning required as it is all contracted out
Ensure that the building is kept up to the level required by the owners
Minor maintenance – limited to very minor issues and only if you are qualified to handle such

Qualifications:
Completion of the RMTI – Certified Resident Manager course
Customer service oriented, with excellent oral and written communication skills
Good time management skills
Basic computer skills
Availability to work flexible work schedule

Remuneration will be a good salary, 50% rental reduction (for live in positions), medical/dental plan after 90 days, free parking, partial paid utilities and bonus.
