Snowplow /Salt truck operator.

SNOWPLOW EQUIPMENT OPERATORS WANTED (If you are reading this ad, positions are open)
REQUIRED: Operators for the safe and productive operation of SALT/PLOW TRUCK and Skid Steer, with snowplow for Snowplowing and Ice Control. Generally, the work will be about 9 hours in duration each time it snows. Depending on when it snows, The odd day there will be daytime work if the snow comes “late”. Snowplow operators are expected to be available 24 hrs/day, 7 days/week at any time a snow event occurs on their sites, but generally work will occur during the overnight period prior to 6:00 am. Job ends April 15, 2025. Operators will be required to maintain records/time sheets of their work including accurate times, dates, equipment inspections/minor maintenance, site/service logs, and weather reporting via an online app.

Requirements: – Must have own transportation or means to get to job sites…not on bus route. – Flexible on working hours depending on when it snows including nights, weekend, and holiday work. – Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. – Ability to work in a fast paced environment. – Work safely near heavy equipment/ vehicles. – Capable of working outdoors in various conditions including extreme cold, rain, noise, and wet/damp conditions.

Full G Drivers License Required.
Experience driving pickup truck with plow and salter.
Clean License and Drivers Abstract required.
Ability to Operate Skid steer for loading truck with salt.
