General Labourer – Fixed Contracts

We are a trending candy and snacks production company seeking a dedicated and hardworking Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing various tasks that support the operations of our facility. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to health and food safety in the workplace. As a Laborer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and effectively.

Duties
-Assist with loading and unloading materials and equipment.
-Perform general maintenance and cleaning tasks around the production and shipping zones.
-Production and processing of various candy SKUs (training provided).
-Operate hand tools safely
-Operate small appliance machinery safely (training provided for machinery)
-Follow instructions from supervisors to complete assigned tasks.
-Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
-Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion.
-Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations at all times.

Requirements
-Must be legally allowed to work in Canada
-Must speak fluent English
-Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds), perform physical labor for extended periods, and repetitive tasks.
-Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions accurately.
-Previous experience in food production or labor-intensive roles is preferred but not required.
-Food Handling Certification is an asset.
-A commitment to maintaining a clean and safe working environment is essential.
