Mechanic – Tire Servicing Expert

Job Description:
We are currently seeking a dedicated Mechanic – Tire Servicing Expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will perform tire-related services and maintenance on all rolling equipment while adhering to safety and company policies.

Tire Inspection and Diagnosis:
Examine tires for signs of wear, punctures, and other damage.
Diagnose issues related to tire performance, balance, and alignment.
Use diagnostic tools and visual inspection techniques to determine appropriate repair or replacement actions.

Tire Repair and Maintenance:
Perform tire patching, plugging, and other necessary repairs.
Rotate and balance tires to ensure even wear and improve vehicle handling.
Mount and dismount tires using specialized equipment.

Installation and Alignment:
Install new tires as per vehicle specifications.
Ensure accurate alignment for optimal performance and safety.
Calibrate alignment equipment and perform adjustments to meet industry standards.

Customer Service:
Communicate effectively with customers about tire condition and required repairs.
Provide guidance on tire maintenance practices to extend tire lifespan.
Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor with all clients.

Safety and Compliance:
Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures while handling heavy equipment and tires.
Ensure all work meets legal and industry standards for safety and quality.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area to prevent hazards.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; certification in automotive technology preferred.
Previous experience in tire servicing or related automotive repair work.
Proficiency with tire balancing, alignment, and repair tools.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
Comfortable working in various weather conditions as needed.
Pay Rate: $20 (based on experience)
Timings – M – F | 8 – 4 / 9 – 5 (possibility of more than 44 hours)
Weekends also sometimes
