About the Position:
We are looking for experienced and dedicated AZ Truck Drivers for cross-border, long-haul routes between Canada and the United States. This position requires spending approximately 5 nights per week on the road, sleeping in the truck. The ideal candidate will bring flatbed experience, though it’s not mandatory, and must be fully eligible to cross the U.S.-Canada border.
Key Responsibilities:
Transport Goods Safely: Ensure timely and secure delivery of goods across Canadian and U.S. destinations.
Flatbed Load Securement: Properly secure flatbed loads following safety regulations (flatbed experience is an asset).
Vehicle Inspections: Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections on all equipment.
Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to Hours of Service and all DOT regulations.
Border Crossing Documentation: Manage customs documentation for smooth U.S. and Canadian border crossings.
Requirements:
AZ License: Valid AZ driver’s license, certified to operate commercial vehicles.
Cross-Border Eligibility: FAST card or valid passport is required to cross into the United States.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of professional long-haul driving experience.
Flatbed Experience: Preferred, but not mandatory.
Clean Driver’s Abstract: No recent violations; a clean driving record is essential.
Clear Criminal Record Check: Must pass a criminal record check.
Mandatory Drug Testing: Successful candidates will undergo pre-employment drug screening.
