310T Mechanic

Thunderbolt Contracting is currently seeking an experienced licensed 310T mechanic to assist in repairing and maintaining our diverse fleet of heavy trucks and equipment. Responsibilities:

• Perform scheduled inspections, preventative maintenance, repairs etc. on all vehicles and equipment.
• Diagnose, repair and service, braking systems, suspension systems, air systems, hydraulics, electrical systems, cab HVAC, steering components, drivelines, and more.
• Perform Ministry of Transportation vehicle inspections as per Ministry guidelines.
• Complete all necessary paperwork as required for repairs and inspections completed.
• Other duties as required.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years experience as licensed mechanic preferred.
• Valid G driver’s license.
• In-depth knowledge of heavy trucks/equipment.
• Possess own set of mechanic’s basic tools.
• Sound knowledge of safety standards and procedures.
• Excellent time management and communication skills.
