Shipper/Receiver Required

We are seeking a Shipper/Receiver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a understanding of shipping/receiving processes and procedures within a manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail and be able to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Duties:
• Ability to work with a team, as well as independently and with minimal supervision
• Ability to analyze processes for continuous improvement
• Ensure all items are received and paperwork submitted properly
• Maintain an organized and clean receiving/shipping area
• Ensure all items stored in racking, yard and warehouse are secure, and clearly labeled
• Receive and sign for deliveries
• Ensure received goods are damage free prior to loading off
• Shipping/Receiving various products from small to large sizes
• Loading and unloading of trucks and trailers
• Pick, Palletizing, crating, boxing, wrapping and otherwise securely packaging equipment/items for transport and storage
• Utilizing a computer inventory system, email, spreadsheets, telephone, 2-way radio, etc.
• Completing related paperwork
• Follow safety procedures and techniques required to perform job duties
• Maintain tools, material and equipment and keep parts and supplies organized
• Driving to pick up and deliver parts
• Securing loads on trucks
Role Requirements:
• Experience in shipping and receiving is preferred
• Previous forklift experience preferred
• Ability to work with software including Smartsheet, excel, and freight carriers
• Able to communicate both verbally and in writing
• Ability to lift 50lbs
• Ability to repetitively kneel, bend and stretch
• Work environment includes working outside in all weather conditions
• Clean driver abstract
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
