Java Developer

Our client in the technology industry is seeking a Java Developer to join their team. As a Java Developer, you will be part of the development team supporting various projects. The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in Java and experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs and microservices architecture principles and best practices.

Job Title: Java Developer

Location: Toronto, Ontario (Hybrid, 2 days at the office)

Pay Range: $65hr HST Incorporated. 

What’s the Job?

• Design and develop Java-based applications to meet client requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions.
• Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality.
• Troubleshoot and debug software applications to ensure optimal performance.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software engineering.

What’s Needed?

• Over 7 years of experience in Java Development (Java/Spring Boot/Spring Batch).
• Must have strong understanding of Java programming language and Spring/Spring boot framework.
• Must have experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs and microservices architecture principles and best practices.
• Should have experience in other tools – JIRA, Jenkins, GIT, Bitbucket.
• Experience in Design, build, and configuring applications to meet specific business processes and application requirements.
