Part-Time Warehouse Associate

We are seeking a proactive and reliable Part-Time Warehouse Associate to help ensure the smooth and accurate handling of our client’s products here at Innovative Logistics. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a physical role, has an eye for detail, and takes pride in ensuring quality.
Responsibilities:
– Receiving Deliveries: Accept incoming shipments, verify correct carton/pallet count, and thoroughly check for any damages before acceptance.
– Label Removal: Remove previous shipping labels from cartons for accurate tracking and processing.
– Detailed Inspections: Break down pallets, count items, record lot numbers and expiration dates, and note any damaged products to maintain high quality standards.
– Inventory Management: You will be in charge of accurately logging all items received into the system.
– Picking and Packing: Fulfill customer orders by carefully picking items and securely packing them for shipment, ensuring they meet all quality standards.
– Warehouse Organization: Maintain an organized workspace by sorting items in designated areas, and keeping aisles and stations clear and safe.
– Quality Control: Perform final quality checks on packed orders to ensure all products meet company standards before shipping.
– Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety guidelines, including safe lifting techniques and equipment use, to maintain a secure working environment.
Requirements:
– Physical stamina to lift, move, and handle items of varying weights throughout the shift (max 40-60lbs).
– Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
– Reliable, punctual, and capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
– Basic familiarity with warehouse or inventory management is a plus.
– Strong communication skills for clear reporting and coordination with team members and delivery personnel.
– Experience using a fork lift is a plus
– Experience using a pallet jack is a plus
