Responsibilities
Reporting to the Academic Chair and working in a team environment, you will provide a full range of administrative support services for the Academic Chair, Shelburne Campus, with an emphasis on providing superior customer service to all clients, including but not limited to students, staff and the public. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, providing basic administrative support such as taking student bookings for industry courses and customized courses, minute taking, filing, booking rooms and meetings, calendar management, supporting faculty as well as general office support as required.
Qualifications
Qualifications and Occupational Experience:

The minimum educational qualification for this position is a post-secondary certificate or diploma in Business or Administrative Professional/Office Administration. High school completion with significant years of administrative experience (10) will also be considered.

A post-secondary certificate or diploma in Bookkeeping or Accounting would be considered an asset.

You have a minimum of three years (full-time equivalent) of recent and related occupational experience in a fast-paced office environment.

Experience working in a training environment would be considered an asset.
-
Experience with space bookings, operating Point of Sale systems, handling cash and debit/credit transactions would be considered an asset.
-
You are familiar with and comfortable using computer applications such as the Microsoft Office Suite and email. Experience working with an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system such as PeopleSoft would be considered an asset.

You are comfortable working in a digital environment; you take responsibility for acquiring knowledge about advancing technology, and you are committed to using technology in advancing your work.

Experience in training/facilitation preparation, delivery and evaluation would be considered an asset.

Experience supporting/providing service to students and prospective students would be considered an asset.
