Hiring General Labour

Job Overview
We are looking for General Labour to work for a manufacturing plant in Peterborough, ON.

Pay Rate: $21.50 per hour

Shift: Morning & Afternoon Shift
– 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM
– 3:30 PM – 10:00 PM
– Candidates will be assigned to a straight shift but may be required to work the other shift as needed.

Duties
Perform various general labor tasks as directed by the Plant Manager.
Assist in loading and unloading of materials and charges.
Assist in storage by setting stickers and dunnage.
Assist in cleaning work areas, painting, and maintaining property, plant, and equipment.
Participate and contribute to the Company safety program.

Qualifications
Must have 2 years of experience working as a General Labour in a manufacturing or construction environment.
Be flexible to work on either shift as required by the operation’s needs.
Able to work with others.
Apply proper safety and environmental practices.
Ability to do heavy lifting continually/ Must be physically capable of performing labor-intensive tasks.
