Experienced and Caring Respite Care Wanted in Cambridge, Ontario

Job Opportunity: Respite Care for a Happy 5-Year-Old
We’re seeking a kind and patient respite worker to support our cheerful 5-year-old son in Cambridge. He’s a happy, energetic child who loves outdoor activities! This role is ideal for someone who enjoys engaging with children and can provide gentle support for social and communication development.

Details:

• Hours: 1-2 hours per session, 1-2 times per week (weekday afternoons)
• Location: Our home in Cambridge
• Duties Include:
• Toileting assistance
• Fun playtime—outdoor activities in our backyard or trips to the local park (transportation via wagon or bike provided)
• Creating a safe, nurturing environment to support his social and communication skills

Our son has some communication abilities but is still working through delays in both communication and social development. We’re flexible with scheduling and can work with your availability each week. You can set regular days, like every Tuesday and Thursday, or vary the schedule based on what works best for you each week.
