AZ driver/Full-time (Manual)

We are looking for DZ truck drivers to fulfil the requirement of our client located in Brampton and become part of our team .

“Must have 3 years’ experience with Automatic transmission”

Shift – Morning

Payrate –$21:hr.

Position-DZ Driver

Location – All GTA

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Responsible for the safe delivery of products to company stations or to customer’s location.
Responsible for following all loading and unloading procedures properly, ensuring that all instructions on the Bill of Lading are followed correctly.
Adherence to all requirements under the Transportation of Dangerous Goods
Perform pre-trip inspection checking for general operating requirements, ensuring that all equipment is in good operating condition, documenting and identifying any discrepancies on pre-trip inspection form.
Ensure that all shipping documents are filled out correctly and dated.
Follow all safety rules, regulations and operating procedures for loading facilities and unloading at stations and customer premises.
Ensure that all placards are displayed.
Ensure that truck is full of fuel, windows, and mirrors and cab interior are clean for next driver.
Ensure the truck is adequately stocked with spill kit materials
Delivery of oil and lubricant products when necessary.
Ensure that all health, safety and security regulations are adhered to and required standards are met
Maintain the building, equipment and property of the home terminal and ensuring they care kept neat and clean
Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS

Minimum age 21 with a valid DZ driving License and good driving record.
At least 2 to 3 years of route transportation experience preferred.
Able to pass a Background check.
Demonstrate safe, efficient driving skills and maintain all security procedures.
Exhibit strong customer service and verbal communication.
Lift at least 70 pounds push/pull bins 25 to 350 pounds, average weight 170 pounds.
Ability to handle physical workload.
Clean CVOR, Abstract and Criminal Record Check
Strong work ethic
