Seeking PSW/Caregiver in Cameron, Ontario $25 Caregiver/$30 PSW

Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate Caregiver/PSW to provide essential care and support for male age 89 with Parkinson’s, uses wheelchair. The ideal candidate will have experience in transfers, helping with physio ordered at home exercises, ROM. As a Caregiver, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for Len in need of assistance with daily activities.

Duties:
-Provide personal care with dressing, grooming, toileting, bathing and hygiene.
-Encourage and assist with ROM exercises, standing to keep strength and balance.
– Provide assistance in light cleaning (Lens’ dishes, laundry, sweeping, wiping down) to maintain a safe, clean and comfortable environment
– Assist with Meal preparation and ensure dietary requirements are met., thickened liquids, pureed food.
– Administer medications as prescribed and monitor clients’ health status.
– Offer emotional support and companionship.
