Our team is also learning-oriented, open to change, and enjoys the variety in the work that we do.We are seeking a compassionate Home Care Services Coordinator to join our team on a full-time basis.About the RoleWe are currently looking for a Home Care Services Coordinator to work for Home Care services such as Momiji@Home and Subscription Services. This position involves working closely with the Momiji@Home Coordinator to support growth efforts, carry out promotional activities, and strengthen community partnerships to help advance the programs.Key Activities Include: Work collaboratively with coordinators in Support Services department to coordinate and manage the Home Care Services program. Plan and implement promotions for the Home Care Service programs. Build partnerships and increase community engagement to support the function of the Home Care Services. Recruitment and new hire training for PSWs. Plan and implement needs survey type of research for developing new programs. Supports the Director of Care to develop and manage program budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and sustainability. Creates and process monthly invoices for the responsible programs. Provides written and/or oral reports and activities as required.Skills & Abilities Required: College diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Health Care Administration, Social Work, Community Development, or equivalent. Experience working with older adults. Familiarity with relevant legislation and standards related to the community services Understand and able to demonstrate person and family-centered approach to providing culturally appropriate services to clients and their families Strong verbal and written skills in English (verbal and written Japanese language skills are an asset). Experience in program planning, promotions or marketing is an asset. Ability to write reports and grant applications. Strong analytical skills to evaluate program effectiveness and impact. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office software Excellent assessment, interviewing, and problem-solving skillsGood to Know: Full time position, Monday – Friday, with occasional evening and weekend hours for special events/occasions, and some emergency situations. Based on a rotating schedule with the team, some on-call needed to respond to inquiries from PSWs on shifts.
