Job Title: Customer & Technical Support Representative

Location: 55 Technology Drive, Saint John, NB, CAN, E2K 5M5

Pay Rate: $17.50/hr

Shifts: Mon-Fri between 8:00am and 10:00pm

Job Description:

  • Provide superior customer experience and reduce downtime through remote hardware, software, and network technical support.
  • Use advanced tools (CareAR®, remote desktop tools) to troubleshoot and resolve issues via telephony, portal tickets, emails, and web chat.
  • Diagnose problems and validate customer entitlements before escalating or placing onsite service calls.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver excellent customer service with empathy and urgency.
  • Resolve hardware, software, and networking issues at first contact.
  • Communicate benefits of remote diagnostics and resolutions.
  • Handle escalations and contribute to knowledge systems.
  • Ensure service level agreements are met for major account customers.
  • Provide feedback to improve customer experience.

Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education and technical support experience are assets.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, especially with technology issues.
  • Effective communication skills (listening, written, verbal).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Critical thinking, decision-making, and multitasking abilities.
  • High level of achievement and self-motivation.
