LOOKING FOR FURNITURE INSTALLER (PT)

We are a contract furniture dealer servicing the Health Care sector and proud to be leaders in out industry known for providing the best customer service.

We are looking for an individual on a Part-Time basis (with possibility of becoming Full-Time) who is:

– Punctual.
– Able to work out of town (transportation, your own hotel room & meals are paid for).
– Efficiently and effectively assist the lead driver/lead with the moving, unpacking & installing of furniture.
– Clean in appearance and must look professional.
– Able to make a positive first impression and being personable.
– Bilingual preferred.
– Provide exceptional customer service.
– Working safely (experience working with seniors or in retirement homes/senior living homes an asset).
– Working with a project lead/team receiving, uncrating & installing furniture items off truck.
– Assist driver/lead with the pre/post trip truck inspections and moving equipment inventory.
– Experience with furniture assembly.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent an asset.
• Clean driving record an asset.
• Must be punctual and able to communicate in English (and French if possible)
• Have strength, stamina and able to carry and offload items off truck as well as be familiar with moving equipment (dollies, hand trucks).
• Must be able to communicate in an effective, helpful and friendly manner with co-workers and customers.
• Must have the ability to listen and take instruction from driver/lead.
• Willing to be out of town for as little as one night as long as 4 nights. All accommodations and meals paid.

No experience necessary, looking for someone eager to learn and a great work ethic and attitude. We pay well, every 2 weeks.
