Driver/Mover/ Team Lead

We’re looking for a Driver/Mover/Team Lead with truck and trailer experience who is hardworking, consistently on time, physically fit (able to lift 50 – 100 Ibs), responsible, positive, energetic and customer service oriented.

• Able to work long & short days & weekends (7 – 7:30 am start to be at customer’s by 8 am, finish approx. 4 – 8 pm) may vary as the schedule & move time dictates. Days off are mostly during the week. Weekend requests are accepted with a week’s advance notice.

• General knowledge relating to the moving industry
• General assembly skills kuilding furniture
• Punctual consistent attendance is paramount
Main responsibilities:
• Load, pack and unload items with care.
• Wrap, disassemble and reassemble furniture.
• Able to correctly and safely lift, load and unload heavy objects 50 – 100lbs
• Check the inventory of the truck and trailer on a daily bases, make sure that they are up to standards to operate safely
• Ensure that no items, walls flooring, etc. are damaged while moving.
• Place furniture, with care, in the requested positions at the new location.
• Perform cleaning and maintenance tasks such as: before leaving the customer’s loading site clean up and gather any supplies and/or garbage left behind during the packing/loading process. Finish with a walk through with the customer.
• Also keep trucks clean-front and back.
Previous experience is preferred. However, we will provide full training for the right person. Teamwork and communication are key! We are all part of the same team.
