Job Description
As a Visual Merchandising Lead at Sport Chek, you are creative, yet analytical when it comes to consumer buying patterns and market trends. Your job is to combine artistic flair with technical know-how in implementing all aspects of merchandising the sales floor to enhance the Sport Chek shopping experience and contribute positively to sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all visual elements are displayed with merchandise and reflect current market trends
- Support the set-up of all promotional events and seasonal changeovers
- Maintain all point of purchase, sign-holders and fixtures
- Assist with pricing, unpacking, and placement of stock
- Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Deliver exceptional customer experience to support your team in achieving performance targets
Required Skills and Knowledge
- 6 months of previous experience setting up window and floor displays in a retail environment
- Passion for sports, sports fashion, and active, healthy living
- Ability to lift/move boxes
Educational Level
- High school education or current enrollment in high school
- Degree/diploma in a visual merchandising is an asset
