Hiring Experienced Nanny in Ottawa. Full time for family with 2

Our family is seeking a warm, experienced, and responsible full-time nanny to care for our 2 girls (20 months and 4 years old) in a loving and safe environment. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, nurturing, and dedicated to fostering our children’s development through creative activities, education, and attentive care.
Key Details:

Schedule: 5 days a week (hours to be discussed)
Start Date: November – but flexible for the right person
Child: 20-month-old and 4-year-old (who will be enrolled in school)
Pets: 1 friendly dog, comfortable with dogs is a must

Responsibilities:
– Provide attentive care for children, ensuring their safety and well-being
– Plan and engage in age-appropriate activities to promote emotional, cognitive, and social development
– Assist with daily routines, including meal preparation, feeding, and naptime
– Organize educational games, crafts, outdoor play, and other creative activities
– Coordinate school drop-offs, pick-ups, and extracurricular activities, as needed
– Maintain a tidy and organized environment, including children’s play areas, bedrooms, and belongings
– Assist with light household chores related to childcare
– Communicate effectively with parents to ensure consistent routines and approaches

Qualifications:
– Proven experience as a nanny or childcare provider with references
– CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
– Ability to manage multiple children, schedules, and activities
– A warm, positive demeanor with strong communication skills
– Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (preferred)
– Flexibility with hours and occasional evenings or weekends, as needed

Compensation:
Competitive salary based on experience
