Construction Machinery Dismantler – Heavy Equipment Operator

We are seeking experienced and talented individuals to join our team as a Construction Machinery Dismantler – Heavy Equipment Operator at our location in Grafton, ON. You will help dismantle heavy construction equipment while adhering to safety standards and efficiently loading them into shipping containers. Responsibilities:

– Dismantle construction machinery like excavators, loaders, and compactors.
– Use power tools and hand tools to disassemble heavy machines.
– Load dismantled parts and the machine into shipping containers securely and efficiently.
– Operate machinery such as forklifts for container loading.

Skills Required:
– Experience with power tools, and hand tools (hammers, impact wrench, ratchets, etc)
– Ability to operate a variety of heavy equipment and machinery such as forklifts, wheel loaders, compactors, excavators, etc.
– Ability to do physically demanding work and meet deadlines

Nice-to-Have Skills:
– Previous experience (1-2 years) operating and maintaining heavy construction machinery is preferred.
– Having a mechanic background will be considered an asset
– Knowledge of heavy construction machinery parts, tools, or machinery technician work is an asset

Salary: $25:00-$30:00 (commensurate with experience & skills). We offer competitive compensation and have periodic performance reviews to ensure employees are growing.
