Branch Receptionist

Assante Hydrostone, a leading wealth management firm in Halifax, Nova Scotia, is seeking a friendly and highly organized individual to join our team as a part-time Branch Receptionist.

The Opportunity:

• As the first point of contact for our clients, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming and professional environment. You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing the reception area, and providing administrative support to the branch.

Key Responsibilities:

• Reception: Greet clients and guests, answer and direct phone calls, manage incoming and outgoing mail and courier packages.
• Administrative Support: Provide administrative assistance to branch staff, including scheduling appointments, managing boardrooms, and assisting with events.
• Office Management: Maintain office supplies, ensure the reception area is tidy, and assist with closing duties.
• Client Service: Respond to client inquiries, maintain client contact lists, and assist with client events.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of experience in a receptionist or administrative role
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Positive and professional demeanor

Assets:

• College Diploma in Office Administration or a related field

Hours:

• Part-time: Monday – Friday, 12:00 p.m. – 5:15 p.m.
• This position is flexible on times and occasionally, more hours may become available.
