Job Summary
The Lead Development Coach plays a pivotal role in the development, implementation, and management of programs aimed at enhancing a youth volleyball experience. This position requires a dynamic individual who can lead, manage, and effectively communicate with diverse audiences. The age range of our development players is from 10-15 years old and we are planning to expand to younger ages, with more programs, once we have the right people in place.

Responsibilities
– Along with Impact executive, develop practice plans to meet the development goals.
– Work with assistant coaches to deliver the practice plans where development and fun are the primary goals.
– Mentor and supervise other program staff.
– Manage administrative tasks related to program operations and ensure proper communication with participants.
– Educate participants about available resources and opportunities within the program.

Skills
– Knowledge of volleyball skills and training
– Strong leadership abilities to inspire and motivate players and team members.
– Excellent public speaking skills for effective communication.
– Solid administrative skills for managing the programs.

This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about making a difference through youth sport initiatives and community engagement.

We are looking to have someone in place for our next set of session which start in January 2025 and run from approximately 9am to 4pm on Saturdays for 10 weeks.
