Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and customer service, ensuring that deliveries are made on time and in excellent condition.

Responsibilities

Operate various types of vehicles, including trucks and forklifts, to transport freight to designated locations.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in safe working condition.
Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling of materials to prevent damage.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents that occur during transport.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while on the road.
Perform minor automotive repairs as needed to keep vehicles operational.
Skills

Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid driver’s license.
Proficiency in heavy equipment operation, including forklifts.
Strong knowledge of freight handling procedures and best practices.
Basic automotive repair skills for minor vehicle maintenance.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for clear interaction with team members and clients.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $30.00-$34.00 per hour
