With approximately 60 employees we operate two shifts daily, which enables us the flexibility to meet customer requirements for quick delivery. We provide free parking onsite and are located 5 minutes from Pickering GO Station.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Position #1: Brake Press Setup Operator
Skill Requirements:
5yrs experience – specializing in stainless steel equipment, custom sheet metal items
AMADA & CINCINATTI brake presses, Shears, Computer numerical control (CNC) machines
Determine cut sizes on parts using correct Bend Allowance calculations
Check products for correct shapes, dimensions and other specifications.
Lay out, set up and operate brake press machines and back stops
Read and interpret drawings or follow verbal instructions to bump, bend, roll, or otherwise shape and form metal stock into parts or products
Operate metalworking machines to cut, punch, drill, shape or straighten sheet metal
Measure and mark sheet metal according to templates and layouts
Experience:
Brake Press Operation: 5 years (preferred)
AMADA or CINCINATTI Brake Press: 5 years (preferred)
Bend Allowance calculations: 5 years (preferred)
Salary: $24.00-$32.00 per hour

Position #2: TIG Welder
– 5yrs – Specializing in Tungsten Inert Gas arc welding (GTAW) (TIG).
– Operate manual TIG welding equipment & setup Tack and Fit assemblies independently
Ability to read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals and processes, examine welds and ensure that the meet standards and/or specifications
Custom fabrication, Machinery or equipment repair, Stainless Steel welding Gas Welding Machine
Types of Materials: Stainless Steel, Mild Steel, & Aluminum alloys in light gauges < 1/8” thick
Experience:
TIG Welding: 5 years (preferred)
Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW): 5 years (preferred)
Salary: $21.00-$30.00 per hour

Position #3: Metal Polishing Specialist
Responsibilities:
Manually deburr parts with various equipment and tools
Maintain counting and organization of customer parts during handling
Complete tasks on specialized parts in small to moderate volumes
Operate specialized hand tools such as dynafiles, pencil grinder, stroke sander for #4 finish, etc
Impart and restore mirror finish polishing on complex components
Timesaver metal sanding and deburring
Experience:
– 5 years of experience (preferred) in Dynafiles: 2 years (preferred)
– Pencil Grinder: 2 years (preferred)
– Stroke Sander for #4 finish: 2 years (preferred)
– Mirror finish metal polishing: 1 year (preferred)
– Timesaver metal sanding: 1 year (preferred)
Salary: $19.00-$26.00 per hour

Position #4: “General Machinist”
Responsibilities
– Review samples, drawings or instructions to understand specifications of output
– Take measurements and mark material for cutting or shaping
– Plan the sequence of necessary actions for the completion of a job
– Select appropriate machines (e.g. lathes, drills, mills, surface grind) and position or load material for a job
– Monitor machine while working to adjust the feed, maintain temperature and identify issues
– Determine and program size of batches and speed of machine
– Monitor output to ensure consistency with specifications and discard defects
– Perform routine machine maintenance and repair minor damages
Qualifications for Machinist
– Vocational school or apprenticeship preferred
– Excellent manual dexterity, accuracy and attention to detail
– Great verbal and written communication skills
– Experience in using and/or programming manual or semi-automated tools and machines (lathes, grinders, mills, drills etc.)
– Ability to use precision tools (e.g. calipers) to take accurate measurements
– Ability to read blueprints, schematics and manuals
– Knowledge of metal properties
– Outstanding mathematical skills and analytical abilities
– Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy items
Salary: $19.00-$26.00 per hour
