The Opportunity

Lounsbury Chevrolet in Miramichi is looking for a Service Advisor.

The Service Advisor’s role is to provide an excellent customer experience to our customers. We are seeking a polite, friendly, and well-mannered individual to represent our company and the Chevrolet brand.

If you enjoy building relationships with people and you like to provide value-added services by selling, then this position is for you!

The working hours are Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule service work in the service department
  • Discuss the required or recommended services for a vehicle, with the customer
  • Gather information on the vehicle’s condition from the Service Technicians, and advise the customer on recommended or urgently required services
  • Explaining the benefits and the potential outcomes of postponing repairs to customers
  • Other duties may be assigned as necessary

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in customer service or sales is preferred
  • Has good computer skills and an aptitude to learn new software
  • Bilingual in English and French is required
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service and troubleshooting skills
  • Likes helping people
  • Good work ethic
  • Must have a valid driver’s license & clean driver’s abstract
