Job Type: Full-Time

Responsibilities:

Administrative Duties:
Maintain a journal of outstanding work items, manage mail delivery, and log vacant suites.
Complete Purchase Orders and inform management of tenant repair requests.
Report any violations of building rules, and maintain organized records in the company system.

Cleaning:
Ensure all building grounds and common areas are clean and well-maintained, following routine cleaning schedules and all healthcare guidelines.

Apartment Inspections:
Conduct inspections of vacant units, noting repairs for the Property Manager and overseeing move-in/move-out processes.

Repairs and Maintenance:
Perform general repairs (electrical, plumbing) and respond promptly to tenant repair requests, documenting issues as needed.

Garbage and Recycling:
Oversee proper garbage and recycling disposal, ensuring common areas are free of debris.

Ground Maintenance:
Maintain cleanliness of outdoor areas, including grass cutting and gardening.

Snow Removal:
Keep entrances and pathways clear of snow and ice, maintaining a log of snow removal activities.

Resident Relations:
Maintain a professional relationship with residents, ensuring respectful communication and confidentiality.

Fire Safety:
Familiarize with and maintain the fire safety log, performing regular checks as required.

Legislation Knowledge:
Understand and comply with landlord and tenant legislation in Ontario.
Building Systems Maintenance:
Conduct routine checks and maintenance of plumbing, heating, and mechanical systems.

Inventory Management:
Monitor and maintain supplies and equipment, providing monthly inventory lists to the Property Manager.

Qualifications:
Proven experience in property management or related field.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Basic knowledge of maintenance and repair processes.
