Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Physiotherapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing rehabilitation programs for patients with physical impairments or disabilities. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Duties
– Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ physical abilities and needs.
– Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations.
– Implement therapeutic exercises and modalities to enhance recovery.
– Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
– Educate patients and their families on rehabilitation techniques and self-care strategies.
– Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments and progress.
– Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
– Stay updated on the latest developments in physiotherapy practices and medical terminology.
Skills
– Experience in acute care settings is a plus.
– Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to physiotherapy.
– Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction and education.
– Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
– Strong organizational skills to manage multiple patient cases effectively.
