The Opportunity

Lounsbury Heavy-Duty Truck Centre in Fredericton is looking for a Parts Advisor.

This is a full-time position. The hours of work are Monday to Friday, from 8am to 5pm.

We will offer a $750 signing bonus.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service at the Parts and Service to walk-in customers and customers calling into the dealership.
Assemble containers and crates in the Parts area: keep it clean and organized.
Answer phone calls and emails from customers, looking to book an appointment or get a status update.
Write up a repair order and document customers’ concerns to ensure accurate information is provided to the mechanic.
Perform regular physical inventory to ensure all stock levels are accurate on the system. Track the ordering status of the ordered parts.
Check and advise the customers if repairs are approved under warranty.
Oversee workflow in the Parts and Service Department.

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent.
Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driver’s abstract.
Previous experience in managing staff is an asset.
Must be computer literate – be able to use Microsoft Outlook, and Excel, and be able to learn a new computer program.
Must be willing to learn how to drive a forklift.
Experience in the truck industry, rental, or automotive industry is an asset.
Has great attention to detail.
Strong interpersonal skills, customer service skills, and troubleshooting skills.
A good team player, has a sense of urgency, and can multi-task.
Good work ethic and detail-oriented.
Ability to perform repetitive lifting.
