Free Employment & Settlement Help: PR & Convention Refugees

Are you new to Ontario and looking for employment or settlement assistance? Achēv’s Newcomer Information Centre (NIC) Online offers FREE virtual services funded by Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

Eligibility:
-Must be physically residing in Ontario
-Hold Permanent Resident (PR) status, or be a Convention Refugee (had a court hearing), or
hold a CUAET Visa (not just any work permit)
-Must be 16 years & older

Services We Offer:
-Personalized virtual appointments for resume guidance and job search support
-Assistance with programs and services such as childcare, taxes, education, training, and government benefits
-Access to our 24/7 Virtual Resource Center (VRC) with recorded webinars on job search, education, taxation, credential evaluations, and more!

All services are offered remotely via Zoom, MS Teams, phone, or email, making it convenient and accessible to you from anywhere in Ontario.
