Salary: $26-$30/hr

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and certified automotive mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for automotive repair and maintenance, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a strong attention to detail. You will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles to ensure safety, functionality, and compliance with all industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:
– Perform routine vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake replacements, and battery installations.
– Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools and specialized equipment.
– Repair or replace parts, such as engines, transmissions, steering systems, or suspension components.
– Conduct inspections to identify issues with the vehicle and provide repair estimates to customers.
– Test drive vehicles after repairs to ensure they are functioning properly.
– Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including diagnostics, repairs, and parts used.
– Communicate effectively with customers regarding their vehicle’s condition, repairs, and maintenance needs.
– Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with environmental regulations for the disposal of hazardous materials.
– Stay updated on the latest industry trends, repair techniques, and new automotive technologies.

Requirements:
– Certification as an Automotive Service Technician (ASE or equivalent).
– High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training is a plus.
– Proven experience as an automotive mechanic with a solid understanding of diagnostic and repair processes.
– Strong knowledge of vehicle mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.
– Familiarity with diagnostic tools and equipment.
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
– Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
– Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Preferred Qualifications:
– Experience working with various vehicle brands and models.
– Strong customer service and communication skills.
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
