Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Administrative Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of our office. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a critical role in maintaining office efficiency and providing administrative support to ensure smooth business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • General Office Support: Manage day-to-day office operations, including answering phones, responding to emails, and greeting visitors.
  • Scheduling and Coordination: Maintain calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings and conferences. Arrange travel plans and accommodations when needed.
  • Document Management: Prepare, edit, and distribute documents, reports, memos, and presentations. Maintain filing systems and ensure confidentiality of records.
  • Communication Liaison: Act as a point of contact between internal teams and external clients. Relay messages and communicate information in a timely manner.
  • Office Supplies & Inventory: Track inventory and order office supplies as needed. Ensure the office is properly stocked and maintained.
  • Event Planning Support: Help organize office events, team meetings, and other company gatherings, including catering and logistics.

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.

Professional demeanor and the ability to maintain confidentiality.

Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to tasks.

Location & Work Environment:

Our office is conveniently located in beautiful Halifax, NS. The position is a Full-Time, with an inviting, in-person workplace that promotes productivity and collaboration.

  • Possess excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to prioritize work
