DRIVERS REQUIRED FOR CARGO VANS FOR CROSS BORDER USA TRIPS

BDI DRIVE

We require G class drivers for our fleet of Sprinter vans to haul shipments between Ontario cross border into the United States. These are time sensitive shipments requiring punctuality, and strong communication. Trips are direct drive service, meaning you do one pick up and deliver direct to the delivery.

As we haul throughout the United States from Canada, drivers must be able to stay on the road for extended periods; from 2 – 7 days; sometimes longer if going to other provinces from the United States.

This is a performance based position, drivers average $800-$1000 per week; based on availability and on-road performance.

Training is provided, as necessary, on all aspects of Shipper/Receiver procedures, effective communication, border crossing for Canada/USA, paperwork handling, ways to maximize revenues, as well as, various other areas to make you an effective driver to our driving force and the dispatchers.

The Sprinter vans are equipped with sleeper bed and bunk heater for accommodations while on the road. Sprinter vans are dedicated to the driver and kept with the driver 24/7. Driver must have adequate parking within 15 minutes of their home so you are able to respond to shipment requests in a timely manner.

Requirements:
– Must provide letter of driving experience confirming 3 years driving experience.
– Canadian Passport or a PR card with US Visa
– Clean driving record
– Clean police report
– Must be able to pass a preemployment drug test (which includes cannabis)

Also as an alternative to the driving position, if you are interested in getting more involved and want to participate in our owner operator program, we have a Turnkey Owner/Operator Start Up program to assist with getting you set up as an owner/operator for those that do not currently have their own Sprinter van.

Interested drivers can reply with credentials and to schedule an interview.
