The Opportunity

As a valued member of our Operations team, you will be responsible for the installation, inspection, and preventative/corrective maintenance of generation and other electrical equipment associated with hydro, diesel and gas turbine generation facilities. In addition, this position is responsible for the completion of inspection and maintenance reports, operation of generation facilities and other related duties as assigned.

You are certified as a Journeyperson Industrial or Construction Electrician in accordance with the Interprovincial Standards Red Seal Program. Experience in the operation and maintenance of hydro, diesel and gas turbine facilities would be an asset. You must hold and maintain a valid motor vehicle driver’s license. There is a residency requirement for this position, whereby your primary residence must be within 40km of the Corner Brook or Stephenville office. Some travel is required. Compensation is in accordance with the current Collective Agreement. Applications will require a detailed resume and copy of your red seal certificate.
