Job Overview:

We’re looking for an experienced part-time kitchen team member with a creative mindset and a love of food. The chosen candidate will be working evenings and have (or be willing to get) their Food Handlers Certificate. We offer a fast-paced, but relaxed environment, with a heavy focus on teaching and skill development.

Key Responsibilities:

– Prepares a variety of proteins, vegetables and other food items for cooking
– Maintains a clean and sanitary work station
– Follows proper plate presentation and garnish set up for all dishes
– Handles, stores and rotates all products properly
– Assists in food prep assignments during off-peak periods as needed
– Closes the kitchen, following the closing checklist for kitchen stations
– Performs other related duties as assigned by the Head Chef
– Complies with standards of the Ontario Health and Safety codes

Hourly wage is competitive with industry standard. We offer an above-average tip out with a well-earned meal beer on the house after each shift.
