Educated Nanny Wanted in North York, Ontario – $25/hr – Apply To

Our family is seeking a qualified individual in North York to care for our 10-month-old boy on a part-time and live-out basis. With a hourly rate of $25 and the potential for a long-term commitment.
From October – December 2024 we will only need Fridays. If you want more work days, we can discuss. From January – Mid 2025 the schedule is at least Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays plus ad hoc days. Mornings preferred, but full day is possible if you don’t mind doing housekeeping when the baby takes his afternoon naps. We do not need meal prep for now.

After Mid 2025 the schedule may change but we can always try to make it work for you. For most days, I (the mother) will be working from home and I would be happy to work together with you on the baby from time to time.

The ideal candidate must have prior experience with infants and possess CPR certification. We value individuals who are trained, and capable of providing a safe and stimulating environment for our little one. Responsibilities will include feeding solid food, changing diaper together with me, playing, singing and reading. English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese both okay), German and French are all good to have, but Fluently English is a must. Our little boy is also practicing standing, climbing and walking, so helping him avoid injuries is important.

College degree and/or qualifications in early childhood education would be preferred. It would also be a plus if you are a parent yourself. The $25 wage is negotiable, if you are outstanding and have a proven record. Also, since the flu season is coming soon, we politely ask only individuals already have full vaccination and are comfortable with seasonal vaccinations to apply.
