Experienced and Caring Nanny / House Manager Needed in Minesing

Hello, nice to meet you! Please read ad/posting in full, and only apply if fully read. This is a professional role in my household for someone who wants to work in a great & well-paid role.

House manager position / nannying to the children, full time permanent, located just outside Barrie, ON, in Anten Mills/Minesing area: searching for a long term, caring, responsible individual. My kids are 11 year old boy, 12 year old boy, and 14 year old girl. Overall the kids are ‘self sufficient’, healthy and active children, this is more of a ‘house manager’ type role. I have a very busy career, so need someone dedicated and supportive.

We are a very busy family and appreciate flexibility – I work many hours during the week with my business/career. You must love children & be trustworthy, punctual, be well presented, good values, and have a positive attitude at all times. This is an application to someone who is serious about the role who truly wishes to have a great career. Flexibility will be provided to you as well (I.e. if you have an appointment to go to etc.).

Approximate daily work schedule is generally 9AM-4PM, sometimes less hours, sometimes more – overall full-time hours can be guaranteed depending on what work is required in the home that you may wish to do. Weekends & holidays are generally not required.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
• Meal preparation, must know the kitchen well and complete cooking – we eat very healthy. Preparing meals through the entire day such as lunch and dinner. Grocery shopping help also required. “Managing” the meal prep and food is a large portion of this role.
• Getting kids set for school, possibly driving to early morning track meets etc.
• Washing, folding and putting away laundry
• Dishes, general housekeeping, cleaning, when/if caught up possible deep cleaning in the house. The house is quite large, you must work hard to keep up to the size of home for cleaning. Cleaning is ‘fairly easy’ to do as we keep a clean house as it is.
• Housekeeping – daily schedule to keep each section of the home clean, garbage, recycling etc.
• Miscellaneous & other duties as requested/required (easy things like organizing closets, etc), house managing.

Benefit if you have solid references who could be contacted after we discuss and interview. Need to be fluent in English with great communication skills. French speaking is a great asset if you happen to speak French (kids are in bilingual).

I am seeking someone to show a caring and upbeat environment for the kids and our household, someone who wants to work hard and cares. I am seeking longer term employment desire. This is a live-out position, although would consider live-in should the candidate fit.

Hourly wage is negotiable paid based on experience; annual bonuses based on work ethics will be provided also. Pay is very well if you are a strong & dedicated worker.
