General Construction Labor – Cash paid daily

Contractor here looking for 2 to 3 people for a few days this week. Our crew is tearing out the inside of an old house getting it ready for a full renovation and makeover and we need a few extra bodies to move things along.

The work is not complicated but having common sense will go a long way to doing a better job. Some previous experience removing old plaster and drywall would be useful too but not essential. The job entails removing old drywall from the walls. There is some old wood lathe that has to be removed as well. After the drywall comes the wood and metal framing. Then removal of spray foam insulation and along the way, all the waste needs to be moved into the dumpster outside. Common tools are hammers, prybars, shovels and buckets. You need to be reasonably fit, not a body builder but we do work all day and expect you to do the same. Our day starts at 9am and we typically finish around 5pm give or take. Job is located near Dufferin and St. Clair. Pay rate is $18/hr cash paid at the end of each day. Likely we will need you for 2-3 days.
