Oxford Frozen Foods has an opportunity for a Robot Operator, located in Oxford, NS. This position reports to the Shipping & Receiving Department Head.
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring accurate shipping documentation and accurate products loaded into each shipment
- Operating robotic cell equipment that includes the following:
- Case and pallet conveyors
- Fanuc robotic arm
- End of tool arm with vacuum platens
- Video jet applicator
- Wulftec stretch wrapper
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum Grade 12 Diploma or Equivalent
- Experience in a technical operator role would be considered an asset
- Knowledge of basic robotics would be an asset
- Experience in Shipping or in a similar position would be considered an asset

- Possess a sense of urgency with high attention to detail
- Maintain clean work areas
- Problem solving skills
- Must be able to work rotating shifts

- React to green wastes (wasted energy and water, air leaks, product leaks etc.) by submitting work orders for immediate repair
