Our client, an automotive company, is seeking a Computer Vision Engineer to join their team. As a Computer Vision Engineer, you will be part of the engineering department supporting autonomous vehicle development. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving abilities, effective communication skills, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully within the organization.

Location: Brampton, ON (Minimum 3 days per week in office)

What’s the Job?

  • Develop and fine-tune DNN and computer vision algorithms to enable vehicles to understand their environment using cameras.
  • Optimize system performance by improving data processing methodologies.
  • Collaborate with hardware and testing teams to ensure seamless integration of algorithms in vehicles.
  • Test and verify systems to ensure functionality across various scenarios and resolve any issues that arise.
  • Stay updated on advancements in artificial intelligence and computer vision technologies.

    What’s Needed?

  • Experience with Deep Neural Networks (DNN) and advanced computer vision techniques.
  • Proficiency in Python and relevant libraries/frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras).
  • Knowledge of C/C or embedded development experience.
  • Experience in launching or bringing an app/product into production.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, software engineering, electrical engineering, or computer science (master’s preferred) with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
