Key Responsibilities:

Scheduling & Routing: Develop and optimize delivery routes and schedules for drivers based on customer needs and operational efficiency.
Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for drivers, providing them with necessary information regarding routes, schedules, and any changes.
Monitoring: Track the location and status of trucks in real-time, ensuring timely deliveries and addressing any delays or issues promptly.
Problem Solving: Resolve any logistical issues that arise, including delays, route changes, or driver concerns.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities, including driver assignments, delivery confirmations, and incident reports.
Customer Service: Communicate with customers regarding delivery schedules, issues, and inquiries, providing exceptional service to enhance client satisfaction.
Compliance: Ensure all operations comply with company policies, safety regulations, and local, state, and federal transportation laws.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; further education in logistics or supply chain management is a plus.
Proven experience as a dispatcher or in a similar role within the transportation industry.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in using dispatch software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations effectively.

Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of Border Customs Clearence is must
Knowledge of transportation regulations and compliance standards.
Familiarity with GPS and routing software.
Problem-solving skills and ability to think critically under pressure.
