Experienced Nanny in Sudbury, Ontario – Jan 2025 Start

Are you an experienced and caring nanny looking for a full-time live-out position in Sudbury, Ontario? Laura and Eoghan’s family is seeking a dedicated individual to take care of their infant son (8 months in Jan 2025), and assist with light housekeeping and infant meal prep.
The ideal candidate will have at least three years prior experience caring for infants and will be comfortable with light housekeeping duties to help keep our home organized. We are looking for someone who is reliable, responsible, and loves working with children. We are a family of three and we have a very friendly golden retriever. Laura works from home most of the time. Work details:
– Full-time, Monday-Friday 9am-5pm (40 hours per week)
– Short-term contract until May 2025, with possibility of extension
– Salary negotiable

Responsibilities:
– Create and maintain a safe, stimulating and educational environment
– Support infant social development
– Plan and oversee age-appropriate infant activities, including nap times
– Plan, prepare and serve infant lunch and snacks
– Change diapers
– Infant laundry
– Light housekeeping, tidying up of common and play areas

Requirements
– At least three years experience with infants
– Excellent communication skills
– Up-to-date on vaccinations
– First aid/CPR certification
– Degree/education in early childcare education an asset
– Advanced infant care skills in a Montessori-style setting an asset
