The New Brunswick Legal Aid Services Commission (NBLASC) is seeking an individual to join the Corporate Services Branch in Fredericton as an Administrative Support on a temporary basis.

The Corporate Services Branch provides leadership in the planning, development and implementation of a full range of financial, and administrative strategies, policies and services. The Branch is also responsible for statistical reporting, accounts payable processing and record keeping.
What you will do
- Answer incoming calls, prepare courier packages, coordinate interoffice mail, sort and distribute mail as well as manage the postage machine;
- Maintain petty cash for the office;
- Order office supplies;
- Complete filing and photocopying;
- Manage, track and update different spreadsheets;
- Create, maintain, and archive files for Corporate Services and Public Trustee Services;
- Travel in the headquarters area (bank, post office, inter-office delivery, etc.);
- Greet and assist public as required;
- Assist with HR administrative tasks, as required;
- Manage shared mailbox for private bar invoicing;
- Other related duties as assigned by the Director of Corporate Services.

Need to have (Essential qualifications and skills)
- Completion of 1-year post-secondary training in a related discipline
- Related work experience
- Written and spoken competence in English is required. Please state your language capability.
- An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered.
- Applicants must clearly demonstrate the essential qualifications to be given further consideration.
Nice to have (Asset qualifications)
Preference may be given to candidates who demonstrate:
- High level of proficiency with office technology and MS Suite (Word, Excel, etc.)

Wage
$1,625 – $1,971 biweekly – Admin Level 1 – NBLASC CUPE Administrative Series
