WHAT IS THE JOB?

Housekeeper

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join our household. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, comfortable, and tidy environment for my family.

Job Duties
– Perform residential cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and laundry

– Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors

– Dust furniture Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture

– Make beds and change sheets

– Restock clean towels and toiletries and linen closet

– Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances

– Pick up debris and empty trash containers Launder clothing and household linens Mend clothing and linens

– Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties

– Shop for food and household supplies
– Assist with meals preparation, cooking and other home-making chores as needed
– Communicate effectively in English if possible
– Demonstrate strong organizational skills to manage cleaning and chores efficiently
– Maintain cleanliness in all assigned areas

Qualifications
– Previous experience in residential cleaning is preferred
– Ability to effectively communicate in English
– Strong time management skills to complete tasks within designated timeframes
– Capability to launder and clean various items effectively

– Must have the ability to work independently with limited supervision.

– Must be able to follow basic safety procedures

– Have a clean criminal record

$23 an hour

High School diploma or equivalent at least (required)
