RPN or RN for Private Home Care

We are currently looking for an RPN or RN for casual private home care in Niagara Falls. Our client is 79yrs of age, had a stroke 21yrs ago and also suffers from long covid.

This position will require you to live in the client’s home for 1-3 weeks to cover sick or vacation time. Possible additional hours/days as needed.

This role includes medication administration, catheter insertion & removal, and maintenance, BP & O2 sat checks, assessments, hair washing, cooking, cleaning, laundry, grocery shopping and any other chores/errands as required by client and/or her husband.

Job requirements are as follows:
1. Must be registered with the CNO
2. Must have a recent clean VSS police check
3. Must have PLP coverage
4. Must have up to date first aid & CPR
5. Must live in Niagara Falls or within 30mins
6. Must have a negative TB test/chest x-ray within the last 3 months
7. Must have a current driver’s license (vehicle provided for errands)
8. Must have a good sense of humor, patience and the ability to adhere to our client’s routine.

Paid training will be provided. Interviews will be virtual and/or in-person. Hourly rate is $55.00 for RPN’s ($4620.00 per week) and $65.00 for RN’s $5460.00 per week).
